This study updates IDC's DRAM forecast. It forecasts the short-term DRAM market by unit and bit demand, interface, average selling price (ASP), and revenue. DRAM bit demand is segmented by application where IDC forecasts both unit shipments and DRAM content per system quarterly.

The DRAM interface forecast for DDR and DDR2 is based on application demand, chipset road maps, and system configurations. IDC forecasts interface mix by density for quarters in the forecast period.
