This study presents the results of IDC's teardown analysis of the Pure Digital one-time-use digital video camera, presenting bill of materials (BOM) cost data as well as analysis of the business model for this type of product and its potential impact on the entire digital video camera semiconductor market. Results are compared against our previous analysis of Pure Digital's one-time-use digital still camera.
