Abstract:

All three parties in the governing coalition - the Reform Party, the Center Party, and the Estonian People' s Union - achieved good results in the October elections. The coalition, although it possesses only a narrow majority in parliament, should hold until the elections in 2007. The coalition will focus on policies to increase harmonization with other EU countries - no major changes in taxes or the labor market are expected.
