This study is the fourth in a series of studies published on a quarterly basis in IDC's European IT Executive Market Watch. In each study, IDC analyzes the findings of its quarterly European IT Decision-Makers Survey and highlights the key issues and concerns for executives involved in the IT purchasing process. The studies contain invaluable information for the IT vendor about opportunities in the marketplace and ways in which these can be maximized on. Changes in business confidence and priority purchases from one quarter to the next are monitored and the likelihood of a near-term recovery in IT spending assessed.
