This study presents IDC's Skypad project findings related to key urban Internet trends in seven markets across Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ, after interviewing about 4,000 Internet users. Project Skypad this year yielded key data on emerging trends pertaining to household Internet usage behavior, broadband penetration, locations from which users access the Internet, the most common activities and services accessed on the Internet, including online gaming and online shopping, as well as advanced household technologies, such as home networking, broadband TV, and ownership of key consumer electronic devices.
