ACQUISITIONS: DEUTSCHE BANK, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES AND TREVIRA
Reliance Industries of Mumbai, India, has acquired the Trevira Group, based in Hattersheim, Germany, from Deutsche Bank, Frankfurt, Germany.
The acquisition was completed in August 2004, following the approval of the regulatory authorities in the European Union (EU) and the completion of financial formalities.
Trevira produces branded polyester staple fibres and filament yarns at four European locations:
Bobingen, Germany;
Guben, Germany;
Silkeborg, Denmark; and
Quevaucamps, Belgium.
