Abstract:
This study evaluates the leading security software vendors in the Americas by eight vertical industries: financial services, manufacturing, retail/wholesale, communications and media, utilities, healthcare, government, and "other" industries.
Noel Stevens, senior analyst, Software Vertical Views, states, "The security software market for each of the eight aggregate industries presented in this document is clearly dominated by four vendors: Symantec, McAfee, Cisco, and CA. Each of these vendors appears in the top 10 players within each of the eight vertical markets covered in this study. Among these firms, Symantec is the clear leader across industries, as it maintains the largest share of revenue in six of the eight vertical industries."
